What can flea markets tell about a culture?

 In my university years, I travelled different countries and continents. Browsing flea markets, marchés aux puces, mercadillos, mercati dell'antiquariato was part of my cultural assimilation. It would give me buying insights, a good kick in terms of cultural reference, national wealth, people’s past and present, be it in a big city or a small town.

I still love to do it.

Since everything has been shifting to WWW, I am in constant search for the best findings available online.
